On this CD, you will find a collection of Director presentation files for your review, use and demo purposes. In the folders identified below you will find several
interesting multimedia presentations done with Director 4.0.
While the files are running you can use -Q to Quit or -. (period) to stop.
Also, keep in mind that several presentations include pauses. If a presentation stops, try clicking in the center of the screen, or pressing Return to continue the presentation.
Sample Movies- Contains interactive introductions to Director 4.0 & Lingo. Look in the "Guided Tour" and "Lingo Expo" folders for interactive examples that you can browse using DIrector 4.0. Remember -R rewinds a Director movie file, and -P plays it.
Quick Tour- Step by step instructios to create a multimedia kiosk production using Director 4.0. (See the Microsoft Word file inside the folder for detailed instructions.)
Intro Demo- Special inteactive presentations prepared by Macromedia to celebrate the launch of Director 4.0. Be sure to open and run the file "Director 4.0.MMD".
Examples- Examples of the wide variety of application that can be created with Director, including an interactive resumÄ, an arcade-type game, an action-adventure game, cartoons, and information kiosks. Inside of the "Examples" folder look at the following folders.
dePixion Studios- Launch "dePixionDemo" to see some multimedia cartoons
DreamLight Verttice¬ 1.1- Launch "DreamLight Verttice¬ 1.1" to try an interactive arcade-style game.
Joe Mack- Launch "J. Mack's JobSeek⌐ Module" to peek at the interactive resumÄ of tomorrow.
Presto Studios- Launch "Buried in Time¬ Demo" to get a sneak-preview of the exciting follow-up to the Journeyman Project.
Media band- Launch "House Jam". It's an interactive multimedia piece that you can control. Click on any of the moving images to improvise your own audio/video mix.
Texas A&M University- Launch "A&M Campus Map" to see an example of how Director can be used for information kiosks.
